 “My husband, Kevin, and I were asked to lead some workshops on
dating for the young people at church. After seeking the Lord's
direction as to what subjects to cover, it became clear that it
should include self-worth and forgiveness for the young ladies.
When I touched on abuse issues, there was a definite reaction
from quite a few of the young ladies. Since then we’ve learned
more of their stories...including all forms of abuse inflicted
on them. My challenge was how to cover these issues without good
user-friendly resources on the subject—even in the largest
Christian bookstore in our city?
